Gays and Lesbians of Salt Spring Island
Gays and Lesbians of Salt Spring Island Society is a registered, non-profit
society whose mandate is to support a positive and visible gay and lesbian
community on Salt Spring Island . The society maintains an information
phoneline and a website with links to gay and lesbian-owned businesses.
A phone tree, e-mail news group, and occasional newsletter allow the society
to contact the local community regarding events and issues.

We provide contact for GLBT people living on the lower Sunshine Coast.
Our group is purely a social organization.
We get together for potlucks and events from time to time.
Potlucks and events happen at rented venues, people's homes, or outside
if it is a recreational event (hikes, picnics, etc.).
